JFM_logo_2012The RogersGray Charitable Foundation, a fund of the Cape Cod Foundation, has opened its submission request form for the Junior Fire Marshal Safety Materials provided for educators and fire departments.

Each year, the RogersGray Charitable Foundation supplies fire hats, coloring books, bookmarks, safety checklist and other materials to over 10,000 children in grades Pre-K through 3rd and to local public safety organizations. All materials are supplied for free through the Foundation and coordinated and delivered by the employees of RogersGray Insurance.

Part of National Fire Safety Prevention week in October, the Junior Fire Marshal program is now in its second decade and has grown substantially during that time.

“The more elementary schools and Fire Departments we have participate, the more outreach we can provide to children and families.” says Lynn Mason-Small, SVP of RogersGray and the Foundation’s contact. “This program is specifically designed to educate families on the importance of discussing fire safety in your home.”

The deadline to register for fire safety materials is September 16th and the form can be found online here!
