Mason-Small, LynnLynn Mason-Small
Senior Vice President, Business Development

What is the best part of your job?
The best part about my job is Community Relations.  I love that RogersGray is so involved in the community and strongly supports employees involvement as well through matching donations, days off for volunteer time and donations made to organizations that employees volunteer with.  I genuinely love working with non-profits and planning events.

What’s your favorite local activity to do?
Go to Crowe’s Pasture beach in Dennis.  This is accessible only by 4-wheel drive and it’s one of the most gorgeous spots.  We spend time there all year round – even winter since our dog just can’t get enough of it!

How did you get into your line of work?
Well, in college I majored in sociology and psychology and thought I wanted to be a social worker.  One internship at the L Street Jail in Southie cured me of that.  I moved to San Diego after college and began working in Sales and Marketing and really enjoyed it. Working in Marketing has given me the opportunity to travel around the world, meet some very interesting people and gives me an outlet for my sometime crazy ideas!

What was your favorite song in high school?
Bust A Move by Young MC. I can still sing all the lyrics.  (and “sing” might be a stretch since I’m super tone-deaf)

What brought you to R&G, and why have you stayed?
I came to work at RogersGray through a my relationship with one of the owners – which was started through our involvement with the Cape Cod Young Professionals group.  I stay because I am challenged every day in my job, love the culture and people, my efforts are strongly supported and I have fun all the time.

Of the five senses (vision, hearing, smell, taste and touch) which would you say is your strongest?
Unfortunately, my strongest sense is my sense of smell.  Living with 3 boys, this is not such a good thing!
