Important Update: Changes to Payroll Deduct Program for Your Personal Insurance

As a result of the sale of Steward hospitals, the payroll deduction program for your personal insurance policies with RogersGray (Auto, Home, Renters, Umbrella, etc.) is being discontinued. We will be transitioning your policies to direct billing, meaning you will be responsible for paying premiums directly to your insurance carrier.

What to Expect:

• Effective Date: Your policy will move from payroll deduction to direct billing effective October 1, 2024. Payroll-deducted premiums collected from your last paycheck issued by Steward will be applied to your new direct bill policy balance.

• Policy Transition: Depending on your carrier’s process, your policy number may or may not change. If there is a change to the policy number, you will receive new policy documents from your carrier reflecting this detail. In either case, there will be no lapse in coverage during the transition.
• Payment Options: Once moved to direct billing, you’ll be able to choose from multiple payment options. Most carriers offer monthly Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), which is similar to payroll deduction and allows you to spread payments over several months. To select your preferred payment method, you’ll need to log in to your carrier’s website. If you’ve never done this before, you may need to create an account. We recommend contacting your carrier directly for assistance if needed; be sure to have your existing policy number available.
• No Immediate Action Needed: Until your policy is moved to direct billing, your payroll deduction will continue as usual. RogersGray will manage this transition for you, ensuring that the process is as smooth as possible.

As your policy transitions to direct billing, you may receive additional email communications directly from your carrier. Please be sure to use a valid email address if opting into electronic communications and be sure to check your Spam folder for any important messages.
